Apple and Grape Festival Day
Today we explore Stanthorpe's premier festival. Stroll through the main street to view the shop windows decorated for the festival and see the High Street's church decorated with the harvest theme of fruit and flowers. Purchase your own lunch and before the Apple & Grape Festival Grand Parade. During the afternoon, browse the many activities and stalls including the hilarity of the Queensland Grape Crushing Championships where media teams, celebrities and dignitaries battle it out with their fancy footwork to tread a barrel of grapes into a two litre container of juice!
