Belltrees Historic Homestead

Belltrees, home of the White family since 1831, is one of Australia’s most famous rural properties. Visit the historic homestead and see the spectacular old village of this iconic Hunter home.

The Belltrees Historic Homestead was built by the White family in 1907 at the peak of the wool production era. Featuring 52 rooms, it is heritage listed and the family home of Dr Judy White, author, historian, archivist and grandmother of 19 grandchildren. Tour this grand homestead and see the surrounding community that housed workers during peak times, including public school, store, chapel, community hall and post office. Morning tea, tour and country style lunch included.
