Day 2

Scenic World – Leura
Spend the morning at the iconic Scenic World, exploring the Jamison Valley and the Blue Mountains Escarpment with autumn colours on show. See the valley and Katoomba Falls from
a unique perspective—perhaps ride the world first Skyway, with its Electro-Scenic glass floor. At the flip of a switch, breathtaking views are revealed through the cabin floor. This 360 degree
view takes in the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls, Mount Solitary and the never ending expanse of the Maison Valley. Or try the Cableway into World Heritage listed rainforest and follow the walkway to the base of the Scenic Railway for your return. This afternoon enjoy a lunch that will have you reflecting back to a bygone era in the town of Leura before visiting the iconic Three Sisters at Echo Point.

Visit Carcoar, the most intact historical village in Australia, nestled in a sheltered valley beside the Belubula River, and learn of the town’s colourful history. Our journey today takes us to the large limestone cave system the Jenolan Caves, recently proclaimed the oldest open cave system in the world. Walk the Imperial Cave Tour, the easiest
of the cave tours, as it follows an ancient river passage and is mostly level.
