Day 1
Home – Scenic World – Lithgow
Climbing to Katoomba, with time to stop and photograph the Three Sisters, arrive at Scenic World. Lunch can be had at the cafeteria at your own expense. With the Ultimate Discovery Pass, enjoy activities such as the Scenic Railway, Cableway, Skyway and Walkway, providing you with spectacular views. Dinner and accommodation tonight across the range at Lithgow.
Day 2
Mayfield Garden and Lithgow
Today we visit Mayfield Gardens, established in 1990. It was designed as a traditional english country garden, open on specific days of the year, ensuring they will remain exclusive. Purchase your own lunch at the café on site and take your time to absorb this remarkable vision of a splendid garden.
Day 3
Lithgow – Small Arms Factory – Home
The Lithgow Small Arms Factory opened in 1912 to supply rifles and bayonets to the Australian military. Between the wars it produced a diverse range of products including sewing machines and golf clubs. Depart Lithgow taking the Bells Line Rd, which mirrors the Zig Zag line, before arriving in Richmond for lunch. Return to the Hunter late afternoon.
