Day 1

Home – Melbourne – Albury
After flying into Melbourne, you will be met by our crew before travelling to Bulla for lunch. Continue on to Benalla for some free time before our journey takes us to the border town of Albury for our overnight stay.

Day 2

Albury – Wagga Wagga
Explore the tiny town of Walla Walla and visit the stunning Zion Lutheran Church, the largest Lutheran Church building in New South Wales. Travelling through the towns of Calcairn and
Henty we stop in Lockhart to visit the Doris Golder Gallery. Her gallery displays portraits of some famous Australians such as Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen, Slim Dusty and Ita Buttrose, created
using washed wool from white and coloured sheep—no dyes were used. Continue on to Wagga Wagga where we will unpack for the next four nights.

Day 3

Wagga Wagga
Wagga Wagga is the largest inland city in New South Wales and today we take in the heritage buildings, beautiful parks and gardens, the magnificent Murrumbidgee River and its beach,
and exquisite homes around Lake Albert. Following lunch, enjoy a tour and tasting at the Charles Sturt University Winery, an integral part of Australia’s leading wine science school and at the forefront of viticultural practices and wine making techniques.

Day 4

Junee
Spend a day in Junee with its charming town square, imposing homes and delightful attractions. Taste the sweet satisfaction of the award winning Junee Liquorice and Chocolate Factory, with a guided tour. The Junee Roundhouse Museum is one of few working railway Roundhouses in the Southern Hemisphere and displays steam and diesel locomotives and other unique heritage items. This afternoon we visit the imposing halls of the Monte Cristo Homestead built in 1884, now furnished with antiques and featuring a unique collection of horse drawn carriages.

Day 5

Wagga Wagga
Visit the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens with its vivid floral displays, themed gardens and substantial zoo with a large free flight aviary. We take a short drive to the Rustique Lavender Farm where you will enjoy a relaxing morning tea. This afternoon, take a guided tour of the RAAF Wagga Heritage Centre, showcasing Air Force history and static aircraft on display.

Day 6

Wagga Wagga – Sydney – Home
Leave the picturesque Riverina region behind and travel via Gundagai, home of the famous Dog on the Tuckerbox monument. Returning to Sydney, Queensland passengers will board their flight home, with the coach continuing on to the Hunter.
