Day 1

Brisbane – Sydney – Harrington
Fly into Sydney this morning, and travel to Gosford for a buffet lunch before an afternoon stop on the waters edge at Karuah. Arrive at the seaside town of Harrington and settle into our accommodation on the banks of the picturesque Manning River. Take in the stunning views of the picturesque river and surrounding mountains as a backdrop for our dinner, you will be put at ease gazing out to the gentle swell of the water.

Day 2

Whale Cruise – Nabiac Motor Museum
After breakfast, travel to the twin towns of Forster and Tuncurry for a morning whale watching cruise. Cruise from Lake Cathie out into the open waters off the coast to hopefully see the mighty Humpbacks performing as they travel the coast on their yearly migration. Following a catered lunch visit the National Motorcycle Museum. Among the machines on display are a Kenilworth scooter (1919), a twin cylinder water-cooled 2 stroke Scott, and a Vincent Black Knight. There is an excellent range of vintage bikes from the early nineteen hundreds.

Day 3

Taree – Manning Valley River Cruise
Today enjoy a relaxing luncheon cruise on the Manning River, along with an informative commentary on the surrounding area. This afternoon, continue your relaxing day as we return to our accommodation via Wingham and Taree.

Day 4

Middle Brother Mt Kendall – Port Macquarie
Enjoy a relaxed start before we farewell Harrington. Our morning tea stop will offer spectacular views along the coastline from our vantage point at Middle Brother Mountain. Travelling via Kendall, we take time to stop at Bago Winery for lunch and wine tasting. This afternoon we continue to Port Macquarie for our overnight stay.

Day 5

Port Macquarie – Slim Dusty Centre – Coffs Harbour
Following breakfast take a journey through Birpai Country at the Sea Acres Rainforest Centre in Port Macquarie. Learn about the rich Aboriginal culture of the Port Macquarie region and be captivated as they showcase the local national parks. Continue on to Kempsey the home of the Slim Dusty Centre. This purpose built multipurpose facility houses The Slim Dusty Museum, an ‘Australian Life in Song’ along with an information centre, shop and ‘Dusty’s Dinner Camp Cater’, where we will enjoy our lunch. Continue on to Coffs Harbour for the night.

Day 6

Coffs Harbour – Brisbane
Today we travel via Grafton, Kyogle and Murwillumbah before arriving into the scenic village of Tumbulgum, nestled on the banks of the Tweed River. Sit back and relax as you take in the magnificent views of the Tweed River and Mt Warning. After lunch we continue north as we make our Brisbane transfers.
