Brisbane – Coffs Harbour
Sit back and relax as you set out on this spectacular tour along the New South Wales’ north coast. Take the scenic route via Numinbah Valley and into the Northern Rivers area of New
South Wales, stopping at Ballina for lunch. Continue through the beautiful Jacaranda city of Grafton before arriving into Coffs Harbour for our overnight stay.
Coffs Harbour – Port Macquarie
After a hearty breakfast, visit the serene garden setting of the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden where volunteers have created something very spectacular out of reclaimed land. See a demonstration at the Clog Barn, followed by morning tea and then wander through the miniature Dutch Village. Continue on to South West Rocks and as you stroll through the seaside village, buy your own lunch before visiting Trial Bay Gaol. Resume your journey arriving into Port Macquarie for a welcome two night stay.
Port Macquarie Day
Wake up this morning to the picturesque area of Port Macquarie, with Norfolk Pines punctuating the skyline. After breakfast, have a guided town tour before taking a morning tea cruise watching for river dolphins and seeing the canal estates along the beautiful Hastings River. Once back on terra firma, enjoy lunch before a visit to St Thomas Anglican Church, the 5th oldest Anglican church still in use in Australia. This afternoon visit Sea Acres Rainforest Centre and take a guided tour among the rainforest canopy.
Port Macquarie – Grafton
After a farm tour and morning tea at Ricardoes Tomatoes, we farewell the Hastings and Macleay Valleys as we travel the Pacific Highway northward. Travelling through the attractive town
of Macksville, arrive in Sawtell for lunch before passing by the beach area of Woolgoolga. Drive out to Wooli to discover this idyllic seaside village with a storybook setting surrounded by the Yuraygir National Park, before arriving in Grafton for our overnight stay.
Grafton – Brisbane
As you bid Grafton goodbye, take a drive up to Yamba, a prawning and fishing village at the mouth of the Clarence River. Board the ferry to take you across to another beautiful village, Iluka, for a welcome cuppa. Our journey then takes us to Tumbulgum for lunch, a small town on the banks of the beautiful Tweed River, before arriving back into Brisbane where our crew will have your transfers arranged.
